Description

Some members of a volken pack are leaner and have shaggier coats than their peers. Anthropologists believed that storm catchers were a separate species when in truth they're a unique mutation that can occur as a Volken ages. Stormcatcher fur is a natural lightning rod. As one catches more bolts, they become painful to the touch, causing a potent static shock. They've learned to utilise this ability to stun prey creatures before the hungry jaws of their pack-mates can spell their doom. Stormcatcher sometimes lead small packs when a Tyrant isn't present.
