Traits

Shapechanger. The werecroc can use its action to polymorph into a Large croc-humanoid hybrid or into a Large crocodile, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Hold Breath. The werecroc can hold its breath for 30 minutes.

Actions

Multiattack. (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). The werecroc makes two attacks: two with its spear (humanoid form) or one with its bite and one with its tail (hybrid form) or two with its claws when it holds a creature in its jaws (hybrid or crocodile forms).

Bite (Crocodile or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d10 + 5) piercing damage. and the target is Grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the target is Restrained, and the Crocodile can't bite another target. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werecroc lycanthropy.

Claws. (Crocodile or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage.

Tail (Crocodile or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target not grappled by the crocodile. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Spear (Humanoid Form Only). Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one creature. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage, or 9 (1d8 + 5) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.

Description

A werecroc is an aquatic ambush predator that can appear as a humanoid, as a crocodile, or in a terrifying hybrid form—a large, scaled humanoid body with a crocodilian tail, claws,  and head.
