Description

Acro-beetles are a visual hybrid of wolf, dragonfly and scorpion. Their bodies are covered in layers of emerald green chitin and their segmented eyes have a glassy white sheen to them. Their most infamous feature is their scorpion like tails that end in a pointed barb.

Despite its intimidation factor, the potency of their poison is inverse to the size of their stinger. They’re natural pack animals who gravitate to the oldest member of their species and reproduce via laying clutches of eggs. Acro-beetles communicate using a language of pitched clicks and chirps that has a vague musical lilt to it. Their songs might sound beautiful but they could be ordering a deadly ambush while their prey is none the wiser.
