Multiattack. The troll makes two attacks with it's limbs. +10 to hit, reach 15'R, (19) 2D8 +10 bludgeoning damage. On a successful hit the troll tries to Grapple the creature with a DC 18.
Bite. +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (1D12 + 10) piercing damage.
Pod Attack. Once a creature is grappled the Ancient Troll will put the creature in one of it's food pods. Once a creature is grappled in this way it must make a DC18 Strength check to escape. If a creature starts its turn in a pod they must make a DC 15 CON save or fall unconcious. Every turn spent in the pod the creature will take (19) 2D8 +10 acid damage. The Ancient Troll will have D4+1 pods open when encountered.
Description
This ancient troll sleeps deep in the swamp subsiding on the filth of the swamp for years or decades at a time. They grow to massive proportions with parts of the swamp adding to their girth and stature.
They wake when a sizable enough meal comes into their area or when a "Swamp Pixie" tries to lead a party to it's doom.
The Ancient Troll uses pods connected to the swamp to slowly digest creatures over a long period of time.
