Shadow Walk. On its turn, the Bandersnatch can move from any connected shadow on the field to another without using any movement.
Uncanny. The Bandersnatch's unnatural appearance causes it to gain a +2 to its AC if the attacker has less than 10 wisdom.
Mind Snare. The Bandersnatch targets one creature, burrowing itself into its mind and causing it to lose mental fortitude. The target must succeed a DC16 Wisdom saving throw or have a temporary loss of -4 to their Wisdom for one minute and it now has disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws until it's next turn where it can attempt the save again.
Savage Dreams. The Bandersnatch sends forth a wave of sinister, dark energy in a 20ft line that is 5-foot wide. Each creature in that line must make a Wisdom saving throw, taking 6 (1d6) psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Multiattack. The Bandersnatch makes two claw attacks.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) Slashing damage.
The Bandersnatch targets one creature it can see within 60 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw or be magically frightened until the end of the Bandersnatch's next turn.
Phase Shift. As a reaction, the Bandersnatch can roll a d20, on a 15+ it can change into a mist of shadow and avoid a physical attack. Each success increases the DC by +1.
Description
Physical Description:
A medium humanoid figure, made of static and darkness. Its form is ever-shifting and warping along its edges. Long slender arms droop and sway by its sides. Sharp claws made of nightmares and the fragile existence of consciousness. Atop its wide shoulders sits a neck that is abnormally long and crooked. Its head is vacant and empty of any distinguishing features apart from the two pure-white eyes that pierce and haunt your mind, almost etching themselves onto your soul. Your heart sinks and whatever hope you had, fades into a dying flame, flittering against the oppressive despair. You know one thing, and one thing only. It longs for you, it needs you, for it is starving.
The Unseen Ones
Wild and wicked, Bandersnatches are creatures of despair. Feeding on the fleeting hope of the distraught, downtrodden, or vanquished. They especially enjoy the ruination of innocence for it is the purest form of dread. These creatures hide in the shadows, they are the movement in the corner of your eye. Never truly seen besides young children, for they have yet to be corrupted by the world.
