Description
A bay beast is a fearsome monster with looks like a massive almost natural looking blend of a giant otter, seal, and a large aquatic lizard. Nobody knows how these creatures came to be, but many theorize that they are not a natural creature of the world much like the owlbear, some even have taken to referring to them as the owlbears of the water. Though these creatures despite this comparison are fairly peaceful and even playful creatures at least until they get hungry and go on the hunt or have to act in self-defense when attacked or otherwise startled and believe themselves to be in danger. Bay beasts are abnormally dexterous for their size, supposedly due to the smoothness of their leathery hide.
