Legendary Resistance (1/day). If the blatter-bug fails a saving throw or ability check, it can choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack. The blatter-bug makes two bite attacks.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) poison damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the blatter-bug can bite only the grappled creature and has advantage on attack rolls to do so.
Horn. The blatter-bug strikes a creature within 5 feet of it with its blunt horns. If the blatter-bug hits with a melee weapon attack (+0) it forces the creature to make a DC 15 Dexterity (Acrobatics) saving throw with Disadvantage (like a check, but proficiency with DEX. saves counts for it) or take 2d3 bludgeoning damage and must succeed on a STR. (Athletics) save or be pushed back 10 feet.
The blatter-bug can take 2 legendary actions per round, choosing from the options, and only at the end of another creature's turn.
Horn. The blatter-bug makes a horn attack (see: Bonus Actions).
Bite (costs 2 actions). The blatter-bug makes one Bite attack.
Description
The blatter-bug is a vicious mutant monster, with six small insectoid legs, numerous tentacles, dull horns, and sharp teeth. It has a habit of becoming especially dangerous when hungry, and hobgoblins have been known to use ravenous blatter-bugs as weapons. They are known for their stupidity: they believe that if you can't see them, they can't see you, so a towel over the head is a good defense against them.
