Unspeech. The unspeaking can communicate with another unspeaking by repeating the only word it knows over and over with various inflexions. This method of communication can only express simple things, such as a warning, a designation or a call for help. To understand such a message, the unspeaking must make a Wisdom (Insight) check against a DC of 5. Someone else can try to understand the unspeech of an unspeaking, but the DC is 20 for them.

Description
For various reasons ranging to an attempt at curing a mental illness to morbid and immoral curiosity, a savant or wizard may remove a small part of a creature's brain (Corresponding to our world's Broca's Area). As a result, said creature is no longer capable of speech, but retains the physical ability to make sounds. Typically, such a creature utters the same sound over and over when trying to speak, but with variations in tones. While this is an obvious handicap, some creatures have developped a form of communication based upon these variations in inflexion. These creatures are know as the unspeaking.
An unspeaking can be of any race that presents a brain structure that is similar or identical to a human's. The stat block presented here corresponds to an unspeaking commoner, however they can theoretically be anything but spellcasters, for obvious reasons.
