Traits

Fur-midable Ally. Felynes have advantage on attack rolls made within 5 feet of an ally who isn't incapacitated. They are also adorable.

Spellcasting. The felyne is a 1st-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is charisma (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The felyne has following cleric spell prepared:
1st level (3 slots): Cure Wounds, Chromatic Orb

Actions

Mew-sical Support Horn (Recharge 5-6). The felyne can inspire others through a motivating blast of its horn. As a bonus action it can choose one creature other than itself within 60 feet of it who can hear it. That creature gains 1d6, much like Bardic Inspiration.

Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one such die at a time.

Radi-claw Attack. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.

Paw-erful boomerang Attack. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 20/30 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

Reactions

You Gotta Be KITTEN Me. If the felyne would be reduced to 0 hitpoints, it is instead reduced to 1, it then uses its reaction to burrow underground. It will do all in its power to remain hidden until combat ends, or until healed above 1 hitpoint. This reaction cannot be used again until after a long rest.

Description

Felynes resemble bipedal cats capable of human language. They typically have light fur, but can come in a variety of colors and patterns.

Felynes perform a small variety of jobs in villages, from shopkeeping to farm maintenance, but most notably they may work under a hunter as Felyne Chefs or Felyne Comrades known as Palicos. Felyne Chefs cook food for their hunters to support them in their adventures by temporarily bestowing them with beneficial status effects, while Palicos assist their hunters on quests by using various skills and attacks.
