Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Anima fails a saving throw, she can choose to succeed instead.
Magic Resistance. Anima has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Multiattack. Anima can use her Mania. She then makes three attacks: one with her pain and two with her eye blast.
Pain. Ranged Spell Attack: +10 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. Hit: 39 (6d10 + 5) psychic damage.
Eye blast. Ranged Spell Attack: +10 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (4d6 + 5) force damage.
Mania. 3 creatures of Anima's choice that is within 120 feet of Anima and aware of it must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to Anima’s Mania for the next 1 minute.
Teleport. Anima teleports to a space on the ground she can see within 30ft. Her chains teleport with her, constantly binding her mid-arms.
Oblivion (Recharge 5-6). Every creature touching the ground within 60ft of Anima must succeed on a DC 18 strength saving throw. On a failure, they are pulled beneath the ground, and are assaulted by her lower aspect in a series of consecutive blows of explosive power, dealing 53 (15d6) magical bludgeoning damage, and are restrained by black tendrils as they return to the surface until the start of Anima's next turn. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Anima can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Anima regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Detect. Anima makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Eye blast. Anima makes an attack with her eye.
Sorrow. Anima can give a creature she can see disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws until the end of her next turn
Description
A sorrowful creature of darkness and death, Anima is a plant-like celestial spirit, with two leaf-like coverings on either side of her body. She is split into an Upper and Lower aspect. The Upper Aspect is constantly bound by her immense chains, while the Lower Aspect breaks her chains in order to physically attack her enemies.
The Upper Aspect features two long mid-arms, bound to her body by sacred cloth, and two much smaller upper-arms holding a chain around her neck which depicts a long dead saint. Her head is covered in a bandage, with a singular hole for her left eye, which constantly leaks blood.
The Lower Aspect is held within a demiplane that Anima opens up and engulfs her enemies in. It resembles a blind demon with four downward pointing horns, and a crown of upward pointing thorns. It has two lower-arms that are initially bound by dense chains, but when she encounters an enemy, she will break them to perform a series of rapid strikes towards them. Her fingers are secured to one another, which prevents fine movement.
