Description
Size: 4ft tall. Hound-shaped body with short fur with porcupine-like quills that pointed backwards from the shoulders. It had hooves at the end of its legs and two large claws above each hoof. It had no eyes and the top jaw was like that of the Shoebill bird, and the bottom jaw matched it's shape, but more like a dog's jaw with endless rows of teeth. It however didnt use these jaws except to open overtop the face of it's prey, revealing a void in its throat that'd suck out the essence of the target, leaving the target either a lifeless and shriveled husk, or a pile of dust. The entirety of the creature was jet-black, but the quills, hooves, claws, and bill were all reflective. (artist: Mikayla Dixon)
They hunt in packs of 3+ and reproduce asexually.
An alpha-variant of the creature could be made by buffing the hp and adding self-healing to the Essence Extraction attack.
