Traits

Rider. The warg has a rider who has 93 (11d8+44) hitpoints and AC 16 (chain mail).  Melee attacks against him have disadvantage due to his raised position. Ranged weapons attacks against him have disadvantage due to the speed of the warg mount. If he dismounts treat him as a normal orc war chief with AC 14 (hide) and animal handling +3 as an extra skill. If the warg dies the rider takes 3 (1d6) fall damage and is treated as dismounted.

Charge. If the duo moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a melee attack from the rider on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the warg can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Keen Hearing and Smell. The warg matriarch has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Pack Tactics. The warg matriarch has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Rampage. When the warg matriarch reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack on its turn, the warg matriarch can take a bonus action to move up to half its speed and make a bite attack.

Description

Long thought to be a part of legend, wargs have returned.

When paired with an orc rider, these intelligent beasts make formidable foes and can wreak havoc when sent out as a hunting horde.

They can be sent out as single units to execute assassinations or as hordes to raid, pillage, and murder.

Although extremely rare, a warg matriarch can be used as a mount. The extremely proud and vicious beasts will only allow a rider when they have been bested in combat and even then the pairing remains tenuous, more of a mutual agreement than a subjugation. Only the bravest orcs dare try for such a feat and even most of those come back empty handed or not at all. Those who succeed bare the proud orc title of Warg Rider Prime.

Warg matriarchs have been known to turn on their riders if they are unexpectedly dismounted and incapacitated.
