Traits

Keen Hearing and Smell. The warg has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.

Charge. If the warg moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a bite attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 3 (1d6) piercing damage. If the target is a medium-sized or smaller creature, it is swallowed by the warg.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage. If the target is a medium-sized or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 14). While grappled, the warg can only make bite attacks against the grappled target.

Swallow. The warg makes one bite attack against a Medium or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is also swallowed, and the grapple ends. While swallowed, the target is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the warg, and it takes 7 (2d6) acid damage at the start of each of the warg's turns. A warg can have only one creature swallowed at a time. If the warg dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 15 feet of movement, exiting prone.

Description

The larger, fouler kin of worgs, the warg is a ferocious beast that has grown to dangerous amounts. They, oddly enough, hunt in pairs or by themselves, and will devour their own kind to remain in power. Never truly sated, a warg is always on the prowl for new prey, and they are more than comfortable with terrorising quiet villages for food. Their maws are far larger than regular worgs, as they extend to engulf entire men. They also possess the ability to consume victims whole in a charge, which is another cruel tactic that these beasts use.
