Death Burst. When the Vine monstrosity dies, it explodes in a burst of thorns. Each creature within 5 feet of it must then succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or take 4d4 damage.

Innate Spellcasting.(1/Day). The monstrosity can innately cast entangle, requiring no material components. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma.

Acid Breath (Recharge 6). The monstrosity exhales a 15- foot cone of its vile blood. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw, taking 5 (2d4) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Description

The Vine Monstrosity is created from the tainted sap of an Eldi'are tree. Wherever the sap dripped after being corrupted, a monstrosity arises. These creatures strive to defend the tree, entangling and swarming intruders.
