Description
The Druid grew up in the wilds, far from civilization and the comforts of town and technology. He’s witnessed the migration of herds larger than forests, survived weather more extreme than any city-dweller could comprehend, and enjoyed the solitude of being the only thinking creature for miles in any direction. The wilds are in his blood. Even in places where The Druid doesn’t know the specific features of the terrain, he knows the ways of the wild.
The Druid dwells in forests, secluded wilderness locations, where he protects the natural world from monsters and the encroachment of civilization. The Druid loves nothing more than a peaceful day spent among the trees of an old forest. He sees his forests as sacred places, representing the heart of the world and monuments to the durability of life. In his role as caretaker, The Druid lives off the land while striving to remain in balance with nature. His methods reflect common sense and remarkable resourcefulness.
As an orphaned firbolg, one whose clan has been destroyed, The Druid became a crusader for nature, seeking to prevent the further destruction of the natural world. He has lived in seclusion, entirely alone for a formative part of his life. In his time of quiet solitude, The Druid found, perhaps, some of the answers he was looking for: why was his clan killed; why had he been spared; and most importantly, by whom…?
In a secluded grove that no one else has ever seen, The Druid uncovered a fact that has long been forgotten…. He unearthed a relic of the past that could rewrite history. It unlocked for The Druid, a great truth about the cosmos, the deities, the powerful beings of the outer planes, and the forces of nature themselves. Information that would be very damaging to the people who slaughtered The Druid’s clan.
