Chaos Resistance. The nagini is resistant to all damage.
Innate Spellcasting. The nagini’s spellcasting ability is charisma (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). The nagini can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At-will: Animal Friendship (snakes only), Disguise Self (any humanoid form), Message, Suggestion
3/day each: Animal Messenger (snakes only), Chaos Bolt, Charm Person, Hypnotic Pattern
1/day each: Charm Monster, Vampiric Touch
Magic Resistance. The nagini has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The nagini’s weapon attacks are considered magical.
Multiattack. The nagini makes three attacks, one of which can be a tail attack.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d10 + 3) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, the nagini can automatically hit the target with its tail attack, and the nagini can’t make tail attacks against other targets.
Parry. The nagini adds 3 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the nagini must see the attacker and be wielding a weapon.
Description
A nagini is a large, graceful demon with the upper half of a youthful, attractive human and the lower half of a serpent. Created by Martu as the primary citizens of Bedlam, the City of Brass, as well as his “entertainment,” naginis are 75% female and 25% male. They are somewhat haughty by nature and look down on the humanoid races, but Martu finds this amusing, as that is the same way he looks down upon the naginis. Naginis are related to mariliths, whom Martu also created to accompany him personally.
Just like any of Martu’s demons, if they die outside the city, they respawn inside the city. They can only be truly killed within the city’s walls.
