Description

When the regular variety of blights isn't enough, evil druids might invest extra magical power into creating a Blight Sprout. Shaped like an humanoid amalgamation of roots, bark, and branches and equipped with a primitive but effective stone sword, they trade their camouflage for a larger size, a more develloped intellect, and better fighting capability. Stronger than regular blights and more reliable and obedient than berserkers and other humanoid followers, they are usually seen when a blight infection has reached the point where hiding isn't an option anymore. Their main draw however is their cost-effectiveness and ability to easily be grown into greater forms of blights.
