Traits
Magic absorption. If any spell below fifth level is used to damage the Acidvine, it absorbs it and grows larger
Burning Revenge. if slashing or bludgeoning damage is dealt to the Acidvine, part of it explodes, splattering acid everywhere anything in a 10-foot radius takes 2d6 acid damage
Acid Touch. Anything that touches the Acidvine takes 1 acid damage and takes another 1 acid damage every round it stays in the Acidvine.
Description
the Acidvine is a vine that grows on walls and ceilings and drips its acidic sap on everything below it.
I think this is great idea, but instead of passive perception should be 10, or something like that and give it blindsight 5 ft, or 10 ft.
As of core monster concepts: 1.Instead of blank speed slot give it 5 ft of speed. 2. Give it some sort of attack like 1d4 slashing 1d4 acid damage. 3. Rise it's cr to ¼, or ½.
The reason, why i write this advice is that it's still a monster, so even it's plant it's sentient.
That's all i would advise you.
(Edit: Also add fire vulnerability, but it makes 10 ft wide sphere that deals 2d6 acid damage.)
