  Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) piercing damage. If the target is a living creature that is already paralyzed or stunned the bite deals an extra 2d6 (4d6 + 2) piercing damage

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) slashing damage. If the target is a creature other than an elf or undead, it must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Reactions

Dead Blood. When reduced to 0 HP the abyssal ghoul bursts, throwing bone fragments and blood in all directions. Any creature within 5 ft must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 10 necrotic damage.

Description

Opportunistic pack hunters that prefer to wait for its foes to be distracted or engaged in combat before attacking with razor sharp claws to first paralyze and then it's bite to kill.
