Legendary Resistance (3/day). When Avalon fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Stone Stature. Avalon has advantage on saving throws to maintain concentration and against being stunned and knocked prone. Avalon is also immune to disease.
God of the Mountains. Any creature made of stone or earth has vulnerability to damage dealt by Avalon’s attacks. This effect overwrites any immunities or resistances.
Pendent of The Mountains. Avalon wears an artifact on his neck known as the Pendent of The Mountains. While staying attuned, he may give it to other creatures to wear. Whoever wears the Pendent gains the following benefits:
- 30ft. Blindsight, 60ft. Tremorsense (included in sheet).
- Whenever the wearer fails an ability check or saving throw, they may add a d4 to that roll.
- They gain the Earth’s Rebuke reaction.
- Once per day, the wearer and up to 6 other willing creatures may enter the pendent, transporting them to Avalon’s Castle. They may remain there for up to 9 hours before being ejected, and are aware of everything outside the Pendent. If the Pendent takes more than 30 points of damage (AC 17) this effect ends.
- The wearer gains the Shield of Stone and the Earthen Weapon bonus actions.
- The wearer may walk up walls, and stand on water without falling.
Innate Spellcasting. Avalon can innately cast any of the following spells (DC 23, Spellcasting ability CON):
(at will): Dust Devil, Earthbind, Earth Tremor, Erupting Earth, Maximilian’s Earthen Grasp, Mold Earth, Move Earth, Passwall, Stone Shape, Transmute Rock, Meld into Stone, Magic Stone
(3/day): Earthquake, Investiture of Stone, Wall of Stone, Wall of Sand, Fabricate, Bones of the Earth, Catapult, Immovable Object
(1/day): Flesh to Stone, Meteor Swarm (upon casting meteor swarm, Avalon will be stunned until the end of his next turn).
Multiattack. Avalon can take one Claw attack, and two Earthen Weapon Attacks. Alternatively, if Piledrive is ready, or he may use Beatdown he may replace one of his attacks with one of those effects.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 19 (3d6 + 7) magical slashing damage. A target hit by this attack must make a DC 21 STR saving throw or become knocked prone and knocked up to 20ft backwards and 20ft in the air, as a pillar of rock knocks them backwards.
Earthen Bow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, range 250/500 ft., 1 target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 6) magical piercing damage. A creature hit by this attack must make a DC 21 STR saving throw or become restrained by earth. A creature under this effect may repeat the save on the end of each of their turns.
Earthen Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 20 (2d10 + 6) magical slashing damage.
Earthen Polearm. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 13 (1d12 + 6) magical piercing or magical slashing damage. A large or smaller target hit by this attack must make a DC 21 STR saving throw or become encased in rock at the tip of the polearm. A target inflicted in this way is grappled.
Beatdown. If Avalon has a creature restrained at the top of his earthen polearm, he may choose to inflict one of the following effects on a target:
- Hurl. Avalon throws the polearm like a Javelin. The creature travels up to 120ft. in any direction, taking 24 (6d6) bludgeoning damage upon making contact with the ground.
- Slam. Avalon smashes the target into the ground. The target takes 21 (3d12) bludgeoning damage, is knocked prone, and must make a DC 21 CON saving throw or become stunned until the end of their next turn.
- Burial. Avalon drives the polearm into the ground, encasing the target in rock. The target takes 24 (4d10) bludgeoning damage and is restrained 10ft below the earth. The target will begin to suffocate upon being buried, and will not escape this effect unless they use their action to attempt a DC 23 Athletics check to escape, or manage to teleport out or break the stone with a certain effect.
Piledrive (Recharge 5-6). Avalon manipulates the earth in a way of his choosing. Each target within a 20ft. cube centered around a point of Avalon’s choosing is subject to one of the following effects:
- Stone Bullets. Fragments of earth are elevated from the ground and fired forward. Each creature must make a DC 21 DEX saving throw, taking 36 (12d4) piercing damage, or half as much on a successful save.
- Pulverise. Large forms of rock begin to try and crush targets. Afflicted creatures must attempt a DC 21 DEX or STR saving throw. Upon a failed save, a target takes 30 (5d10) bludgeoning damage, become knocked prone, and cannot relieve themselves from the prone condition until they free themselves from the rock above them. They may attempt a DC 21 STR save to break free, ending this effect on a success.
- Encase. Fragments of rock all collect on one target within the affected area. That target must make a DC 21 STR saving throw or become encased in rock. While affected in this way, a target is paralyzed. This ability does not affect creatures with any form of incorporeal ability active. A creature affected may attempt up to 3 DC 21 STR saving throws, ending the effect on a success. If all of these saves are failed, the creature is paralyzed until a creature uses their action to attempt an Athletics check against a 21 DC to free them.
Recall. Avalon’s Pendent is teleported from wherever it is, and instantly appears on his neck.
Earthen Weapon. Avalon constructs a compressed and hardened weapon out of earth. He creates either a blade, polearm, or bow. Avalon unlocks the corresponding action with whatever weapon he currently wields. Avalon can only have one Earthen Weapon summoned at a time.
Earthen Shield (Recharge 5-6). Avalon constructs a compressed and hardened shield out of earth. He gains a +2 to his AC, and 20 Temporary Hitpoints. Once Avalon takes these 20 hitpoints of damage, his shield is destroyed.
Rock Wall. When Avalon is subjected to a ranged attack or DEX saving throw that targets only him, he may use his reaction to create a wall of rock, 10ft. high and 10ft. wide. The rock wall has an AC of 17 and has 15 hitpoints, and will absorb any damage taken by the effect for him. If the rock wall is not destroyed, it will disappear after 1d4 hours.
Earth’s Rebuke. When Avalon receives damage from an attacker within 5ft. of him, and the attacker is standing within 15ft. of any stone or similar mineral, he may use his reaction to shoot a shockwave of rock at the target. The target must make a DC 20 CON saving throw or take 8 (2d6) thunder damage and 12 (2d10) bludgeoning damage, and the target is knocked prone and backwards 15 feet. On a successful save, the target takes no damage and is not knocked prone or backwards.
Slow Fall. When Avalon takes fall damage, he can reduce the fall damage taken by 150 points of damage.
Avalon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Avalon regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
Move. Avalon moves up to his movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Blades of Stone. Avalon makes an attack with whatever Earthen Weapon he has conjured.
Shift Earth (Costs 2 Actions). Avalon casts an at will or 3/day spell from his Innate Spellcasting list.
Description
Avalon is a Divine Rank 15 Lesser God, with extreme influence over the Elemental Plane of Earth. His worshippers include Earth elementals, Earth Genasi, and Dao. Avalon's Portafolio includes earth, stone, stonesmithing, metals, and mining. Avalon isn't worshipped much in the Shattered Reach, and gains most of his support and influence through the Elemental Plane of Earth. As a result, he is more frequently seen there, instead of the Shattered Reach. His Pendant is said to grant whoever he lets wield it godlike powers over the earth.
