Description

Wendigos roam around vast and dense woods, normally nexto to local villages or small comunities, where they can hunt without much risk. Being a creature made of dark magic, Wendigos cannot reproduce themselves, instead they are created when a humanoid creature starts to eat his own kind; on specific circunstances, such as if the area is impregnated with dark magic or if the humanoid was cruel enough to attract the attention of a demon,  then said creature would turn into a Wendigo. They are mindless beasts that live to eat and will hunt any humanoid they can smell. Wendigos are known to be excellent materials to dark spells, since its flesh is nourished by the suffering and nutrients of victims of the same species, and it is said that the Wendigo's bones cannot be broken except by another Wendigo. They're lonely hunters that do not like to share, so two or more Wendigos never coexist in the same area for too long. The one weakness of this wicked creature is fire, and many local villages with Wnedigo problems tend to light torches at night and warn children to not walk to far from the community.
