Action Surge. You can take one additional action on your turn. This can be used 1 time per short rest.
Indomitable. You can reroll a saving throw that you fail - you must use the new roll. You can use this 2 times per long rest.
Know Your Enemy. If you spend at least 1 minute observing or interacting with another creature outside combat, you can learn information about its capabilities compared to your own: Strength score, Dexterity score, Constitution score, Armor Class, current HP, total class levels (if any), fighter class levels (if any)
Combat Superiority. You learn maneuvers that are fueled by superiority dice. Maneuvers enhance an attack in some way. You have 5d10 superiority dice per short rest.
- Disarming Attack. When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add it to the damage and to disarm the target if it fails a STR saving throw (DC 19).
- Menacing Attack. When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add the total to the damage roll and the target must make a WIS saving throw (DC 19). On failure, it is frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
- Precision Attack. When you make a weapon attack roll, you can expend one superiority die to add it to the roll before or after the roll but before any effects are applied.
- Trip Attack. When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add the total to the damage roll, and if the target is Large or smaller, it must make a STR saving throw (DC 19). On failure, you knock the target prone.
Multiattack. Arronax makes three attacks with his vorpal longsword or handaxe.
Vorpal Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (1d8 + 11) slashing damage. This damage ignores resistance.
When you roll a 20 on the attack roll, you cut off one of the creature's heads. The creature dies if it can't survive without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, doesn't have or need a head, has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit.
Handaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d6 + 8) slashing damage.
Second Wind. Once per short rest, you can use a bonus action to regain 1d10 + 13 HP.
Maneuvers: Feinting Attack. You can expend one superiority die and use a bonus action on your turn to add the total to the damage roll and to gain advantage on your next attack roll against a chosen creature within 5 ft. this turn.
Maneuvers: Grappling Strike. Immediately after you hit a creature with a melee attack on your turn, you can expend one superiority die and then try to grapple the target as a bonus action. Add the superiority die to your Strength (Athletics) check.
Sentinel. When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn. Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they take the Disengage action. When a creature within 5 ft. of you makes an attack against a target other than you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.
- Maneuvers: Brace. When a creature you can see moves into the reach you have with the melee weapon you’re wielding, you can use your reaction to expend one superiority die and make one attack against the creature, using that weapon. If the attack hits, add the superiority die to the weapon’s damage roll.
- Maneuvers: Parry. When another creature damages you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction and expend one superiority die to reduce the damage by the number you roll on your superiority die +3.
- Maneuvers: Riposte. When a creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction and expend one superiority die to make a melee weapon attack against it (add the superiority die to the attack’s damage roll on hit).
