Elemental Demise. If the akashin dies, its body disintegrates into spectral static, leaving behind only equipment the akashin was wearing or carrying.
Innate Spellcasting. The akashin's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: detect evil and good, detect magic, mind sliver
3/day each: create food and water (can create wine instead of water) , mind spike, misty step
1/day each: conjure elemental, mental prison, phantasmal killer, invisibility, synaptic static, plane shift
Multiattack. The akashin makes three scimitar attacks.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) psychic or force damage (akashin's choice).
Create Astral Storm. A 30-foot sphere of astral wind magically forms on a point the akashin can see within 120 feet of it. The storm lasts as long as the akashin maintains concentration (as if concentrating on a spell). Any creature but the akashin that enters the storm must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or be stunned by it. The akashin can move the storm up to 60 feet as an action, and creatures stunned by the storm move with it. The storm ends if the akashin loses sight of it.
A creature can use its action to free a creature stunned by the storm, not including itself, by succeeding on a DC 18 Strength check. If the check succeeds, the creature is no longer stunned and moves to the nearest space outside the storm.
