Description

Ancient beasts are large mechanical monsters from a long-gone era. They were originally created to guard cities against invaders, but before long, they malfunctioned and now see any living thing as an intruder. Many cities were destroyed by them, including the ones they protected. Now the few that remain intact wander the world and are rare to find. Few survive when they are found, however, and they avoid cities in fear that they are to be destroyed by their inhabitants like many others were during the beast's time.

Ancient beasts often take the form of animals, such as Lions, Wolves, Bears, and even Spiders.
