Traits

Cervus Folk are usually in small groups of 4 to 8 members. The Alpha may be with one of these groups or by itself. They spend their time roaming around their Forrest homes, searching for threats to their tribes. The Males horns are deadly weapons, which they will not hesitate to use if they discover you in their territory. Alpha Females can release a pheromone to make enemies temporarily docile and drop their weapons. Both Males and Females will bite intruders if they get too close.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) piercing damage.

Horn. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (2d4) piercing damage.

Horn Throw: Range Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (2d6) piercing damage.

Bonus Actions

Distress Call: When threatened, The Cervus Folk makes a call for help from others of it's kind. Everyone within 30 feet must make a DC 13 Con Save or be paralyzed for a turn. If help doesn't arrive for 3 turns, they may make another distress call.

Pheromone Spray: An Alpha Female can spray an area (15 foot cone) with a pheromone that makes the victims temporarily docile and drop their weapons. Everyone within the 15 foot cone must make a DC 13 Con Save or they will immediately drop their weapons and be unable to attack for a full turn.

Reactions

Very Territorial and protective of their own tribes. Alpha males will attack any intruder they come across. If the Alpha Male is with a group of their tribe, he attacks to give time for the females to flee and give his fellow males time to flank the intruders. The Alpha females will attempt to observe (at a distance) any intruders in groups for protection. If that isn't possible, they will attempt to spray a pheromone to distract the intruders.

Description

The Cervus Folk are Deer like Humanoids that live in Forested areas. They range between 5' and 5'8" for the females and 5'11" and 6'6" for the males (not counting the height of the Antlers). The Alpha's are the largest members of their tribes.Though they have hooves for feet, they have humanoid hands with opposable thumbs.

The Alpha's are the heads of their tribes. They spend their time scouting areas for groups of their tribe members or defending tribe members from threats.

Alpha Males can break off a horn and toss it with great force up to 60 feet.

Alpha Females can spray a pheromone to make enemies temporarily docile and drop their weapons.

They speak common and their native language, Cervidean.
