Traits

Mind Blank. The Bone Reaper is immune to psychic damage, any effect that would sense its emotions or read its thoughts, divination spells, and the charmed condition. The trait even foils wish spells and spells or effects of similar power used to affect your mind or to gain information about you.

Suggestion.  The Bone Reaper suggest a course of activity (limited to a sentence or two) and magically influence a creature it can see within range that can hear and understand it. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this effect. The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the course of action sound reasonable. Asking the creature to stab itself, throw itself onto a spear, immolate itself, or do some other obviously harmful act ends the spell.

The target must make a Wisdom saving throw with disadvantage (DC 16). On a failed save, it pursues the course of action The Bone Reaper described to the best of its ability. The suggested course of action can continue for the entire duration. If the suggested activity can be completed in a shorter time, the spell ends when the subject finishes what it was asked to do.

The Bone Reaper can also specify conditions that will trigger a special activity during the duration. For example, it might suggest that a knight give her warhorse to the first beggar she meets. If the condition isn't met before the spell expires, the activity isn't performed.

If The Bone Reaper or any of its companions damage the target, the spell ends.

Duration: 8 hours.

Spellcasting. The Bone Reaper is a 11th level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). The Bone Reaper has following Wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Control Flames, Fire Bolt, Light, Mage Hand, Prestidigitation
1st level (4 slots): Feather Fall, Detect Magic, Magic Missile, Disguise Self
2nd level (3 slots): Detect Thoughts, Invisibility, Mind Spike, Knock
3rd level (3 slots): Fireball, Dispel Magic, Counterspell, Lightning Bolt
4th level (3 slots): Greater Invisibility
5th level (2 slots): Scrying, Telekinesis
6th level (1 slot): True Seeing

Actions

Inane Chatter. The Bone Reaper engages in long conversation with anyone nearby.  After one round of conversation the target must make a WIS save (DC 16) or be dazed by the Bone Reaper.

Reactions

Elbow Grip. Any creature that attempts to move past the Bone Reaper's space must succeed in a grapple check, as the Bone Reaper attempts to grab its elbow to engage in Inane Chatter.

Description

With no eyes, skeletal wings, six fingers on each hand and a half drooping face the Bone Reaper looks the part of a monster.  It hides this disfigurement with a Disguise Self spell which it continues to concentrate on while it enters a populated city to engage in conversation.  It will attempt to engage in Inane Chatter with whatever humanoid it can see in any tavern it comes across.  After the target of The Bone Reaper has been dazed it will lure it to a secluded spot and kill the target with its multitude of spells.  The bones of the killed creature will then be harvested from the body using telekinesis so that The Bone Reaper can feed.
