Description
The wendigo is a creature that has a hunger for the flesh of humanoid beings. It is a creature that is both ravenously gluttonous and also thin and sickly looking due to constant starvation. Any humanoid has the chance of becoming one of these. A humanoid can transform into a wendigo in a couple different ways. The first way is when a humanoid gets desperate enough in a dire situation to resort to cannibalism to survive. The second, is when a humanoid gets so greedy and gluttonous that the gods curse them to be hungry and greedy forever. A wendigo could choose their meals in a variety of different ways. Some feast on anything they can get their hands on, some feast on the truly evil, some will only eat to cause fear, chaos and sadness, while others will feast on only certain types of races (most likely the race they were when they were turned, or the race they had to eat to survive). Some of them stalk their prey in forests and some will charm people into brining other people to itself.
Lovers of Nature
Since wendigos have had their humanity forcibly ripped from them, some of them (the good ones) have the propensity to take care of the natural world around them. They don't eat animals or plants because they realize that the animals and plants have no malice or hatred for anything or anyone. They use this to hold on to the last bit of sanity, and humanity they have.
