Magic Resistance. The death knight has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Spellcasting. The death knight is a 19th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following paladin spells prepared:
1st level (4 slots): command, compelled duel, searing smite
2nd level (3 slots): hold person, magic weapon
3rd level (3 slots): dispel magic, elemental weapon
4th level (3 slots): banishment, staggering smite
5th level (2 slots): destructive wave (necrotic)
Multiattack. Atalith makes three attacks with one of his weapons and one attack with the other.
Desperate Light +3. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d6 + 8) plus 18(4d8) necrotic damage.
Shining Light +3. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d6 + 8) plus 18(4d8) Radiant damage.
Constraining Wraps (1/Day). Atalith summons tendrils of wraps from the hilt of his blades targeting a large or smaller creature within 30 ft. The creature must make a DC 18 Cha saving throw or be restrained until they renounce their evil ways.
Parry. Atalith adds 6 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, Atalith must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
Magic Shield (3/Day). Atalith set down a barrier of mystical light. Forming a half-circle barrier 15 ft. long and 15 ft. tall that block all attacks and effects that may go past it.
While in combat Atalith can use the options below as Legendary actions.
Counter (Recharge 4-6). After blocking a creature's blow Atalith can shoot out wraps from his blades that restrain the movement of his attacker. Immediately after using the Parry reaction, Atalith can follow up with a melee weapon attack with advantage.
Soul Siphon. The death of a creature by Ataliths hands brings them to his Domain and can feed on their soul. After Atalith kills a creature, he can heal 25 hp.
