Traits

Hold Breath. The hydra can hold its breath for 1 hour.

Multiple Heads. The hydra has five heads. While it has more than one head, the hydra has advantage on saving throws against being blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, stunned, and knocked unconscious.

Whenever the hydra takes 30 or more damage in a single turn, one of its heads dies. If all its heads die, the hydra dies.

At the end of its turn, if it doesn't have its max head count of 10, then it regrows its heads unless it takes Hyrdo damage, and also heads for 2d4 Damage dice.

Reactive Heads. For each head the hydra has beyond one, it gets an extra reaction that can be used only for opportunity attacks.

Wakeful. While the hydra sleeps, at least one of its heads is awake.

Pyro Overload. Whenever the hydra is hit by any attack with fire, it is immune to the pyro damage it would take and instead is given extra damage dice on the next attack that it uses when it has fire damage. However, it has 2 rounds to use that attack or else it takes 4d20 damage due to a pyro overload.

hydrophobic. Any type of attack that has water is Tripled and takes away all pyro from his attacks for the next 3 attacks.

Actions

Multiattack. The hydra makes as many bite attacks as it has heads.

Bite. Melee weapon attack +5 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit:8 (1D8+3) Piercing Damage (1D6+2) fire Damage

Fire Breath. The target must make a Dex saving throw of 18 in order to take half damage.

The target takes 4D10 Lava Damage. This is within a 75-foot cone.

When Pyro Overload is active the damage is 4d20 and is a ball that is shot, covering a 70-foot area.

(once use per  1d4 Rounds)

Description

The Lava Hydra is as far from its counter as it can be, its snake-like body only grows when it becomes an adult fully losing its legs but getting faster and more agile with it, as a young adult its heads will often have lava dripping out of its mouth as it has yet to fully learn how to control its own fluids. It may also find its self hurting its self with water if they are not careful, as water has power over this monster.

The lavas Hydra does massive amounts of fire damage to those that get too close to it, and will often kill or set things in a blaze without ever meaning to, causing it to have a very destructive nature.  (advice major caution with fire.)
