Keen Sight and Smell. The owlbear cub has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight or smell.
Adorable. The owlbear cub does not appear as a threat, being too cute to be read as suspicious. Insight and Intimidation checks against the owlbear cub are always at disadvantage.
Imprint. If the owlbear cub is orphaned, they will bond with the next intelligent creature they find. If the creature accepts this, the owlbear will treat the creature and any allies of the creature as members of their pack. The owlbear cub will recognize allies of their bonded creature, but may still harbor opinions about them individually.

Description
A young iteration of its larger, aggressive species, the baby owlbear is pliable to domestication and forms a pack bond with its caretakers. Only druids and those who are experts in handling animals take up tasks such as this, but those who successfully tame an owlbear cub gain a powerful companion when they are fully matured.
Owlbears reach maturity around 8 years old and tend to live for 30.
