False Appearance. While the violet fungus remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary fungus.
Hypontic Center. When a creature looks inside to the inner flower they need to make a DC 16 Wisdom Save or be charmed. The creature will want to eat the inner flower. if they do the creature becomes infected with the disease described in the Death spores trait
Death Spores. Creature must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take 10(3d6) poison damage and become infected with a disease on a failed save. Creatures immune to the poisoned condition are immune to this disease.
Spores invade an infected creature’s system, killing the creature in a number of hours equal to 1d12 + the creature’s Constitution score, unless the disease is removed. In half that time, the creature becomes poisoned for the rest of the duration.
Multiattack. The fungus makes 1d4 Rotting Slash attacks or one Touch attack.
Rotting Slash. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 12 (3d8) necrotic damage.
Touch. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1 poison damage, and the creature must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or become infected with the disease described in the Death Spores trait.
