Traits

Shapechanger. The werecapybara can use its action to polymorph into a capybara-humanoid hybrid or into a giant capybara, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Keen Smell. The werecapybara has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Aura of peace. while in hybrid form, the werecapybara eminates a aura of peace which prevents anyone from doing anything hostile to anyone within 50ft unless they beat a DC 15 wis save, these are increased to 70ft and DC 17 while in capybara form, the werecapybara's ability cancels when in combat or when they attack

Spellcasting. The warecapybara is a druid and has spells that reflect that, these spells can only be used in humanoid form. +4 to spells and DC 12 spell save

at will; Druidcraft, mold earth, friends

3/day; cure wounds, faerie fire, speak with animals, moonbeam

1/day; plant growth, summon fae, water walk, conjure woodland beings, wrath of nature

Actions

Multiattack (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). The wererat makes two attacks, 

Bite (Capybara or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werecapybara lycanthropy.

Claw. (Capybara form only). Melee weapon attack, +5; to hit, reach 5ft, one target hit:  9 (2d6+2) slashing damage. if the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or take double damage from the warecapybara (in humanoid and hybrid forms only) for 1d3 turns (if the capybara is to crit on a target with this debuff it stacks) (this debuff counts as a poison for spells)

 

 

Reactions

Lunge. (Capybara form only) if a attack misses the warecapybara then they can react and lunge in any direction for 15 feat if they land on a tile with someone on it said person is knocked prone.

Dodge. (humanoid and hybrid form only) If an attack is to hit the warecapybara they may use their reaction to dodge adding +4 to ac until the end of some ones turn, this effect is only +2 when in hybrid form.
