Indistinguishable Form. The Vist can take on the form of the person it’s target most desires surrounded by a thin layer of fog. All players within 100 feet can be affected. Targets must succeed a DC 17 Wisdom Saving Throw or be drawn in towards the Vist each turn at half movement speed. Targets must succeed saving throws every time they take damage. Non-targets must make a DC 10 Wisdom Saving Throw each turn or also be drawn in at half movement speed.
Innate Spell Caster. The Vist is a 5-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is WISDOM (spell save DC 12, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The Vist has following Illusion and Necromancy spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): [Silent Image], [Chill Touch], [Charm Person]
1st level (5 slots): [Vampric Touch], [Blindness/Deafness], [Hellish Rebuke]
Choke. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., 3 targets. Hit: 10 (2d10 + 2) Necrotic damage.
When up to 3 characters are within 10 feet of the Vist, it will attempt to choke the players with its mist-like hands.
Grapple. If the target is within 10 feet and breaks free from its trance, the Vist may attempt to reach out and grapple the target and the target must succeed on a DC 12 strength check.
Evasive: Upon taking damage, the Vist can teleport up to 30 feet away from itself.

Description
The Vist is an evil fey that preys on the life force of others. Nearly formless aside of a jet black human shaped creature surrounded by a dense fog, the Vist can take on the shape of a person that it’s target desires most, making it irresistible to seek comfort in, only to have their life sucked from them.
