Flight. Astralytes can fly at a speed of 20 feet.
Night Reflection. When looking into an Astralyte's eyes, one can see the night stars, regardless of weather, as they appear in real time. During the winter, the view looks north. In spring, it looks east, and so on. The right eye shows the view from the northern hemisphere, and the left eye shows the view from the southern hemisphere. They are often used for navigation during storms or other circumstances when the sky is obstructed.
Description
Astralytes are cat-like mammalians. They have medium-length fur which covers their whole body, and triangular, sensitive ears. They also have furry wings which enable them to hover or fly at low speeds. They are quite passive and friendly, and they share normal cats' curiosity. This, combined with their unique eyes, makes them both invaluable tools and adorable companions. They are most commonly black, but can also appear with white, gray, brown, or orange fur.
Astralytes can be found commonly as pets in port towns, as well as carried by particularly wealthy adventurers. They are rare in the wild, but most often are located in dense tropical forests.
