Blighted Aura. When a creature within 10 feet of the Blighted One makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, the creature rolls 1d4 and subtracts the number rolled from the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. A creature can be affected by only one Blighted Aura at a time, and the effect doesn’t stack with bane.

The Blight. A creature that takes necrotic damage from the Blighted One must make a DC17 constitution save or be affected with the Blight disease. At the start of each of its turns, the creature takes 9 (2d8) necrotic damage. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns.

Spellcasting. The [monster name] is a 12th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). The Blighted One has following spells prepared:

3rd level (3 slots): bestow curse, stinking cloud

Description

Once human, though who knows how long ago. This persons body has been completely taken over by disease and pestilence, kept only alive by the intervention of some eldritch being, or worse.

Their body has been enveloped by growths of flesh, bone and other stranger types of matter. Eyes glow yellow through what little is left of their twisted face.

Unable to talk more than guttural noises and mutterings in otherworldly tongues, this creature has been twisted in its heart as well as its body, thinking humanity no more than a disease itself.
