Traits

Amorphous. The Aggressive Potion can move through a space as narrow as 1/2 inch wide without squeezing.

Limited Spider Climb. The Aggressive Potion can climb difficult surfaces, excluding upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Blobby Bounce. The Aggressive Potion can alter it's consistency to bounce up to 10 feet in both height and distance without a running start.

Actions

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage plus 3 (1d6) acid damage.

Dental Mold. Melee Weapon Attack:  +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage. After the bite, roll an immediate strength contest with the target. If the Aggressive Potion wins the strength contest then it has effectively grappled the target after the attack.

Reactions

Volatile. Area Attack:  If the Aggressive Potion would reach 0 hit points after an attack that deals fire damage, it can use a reaction to create a small 5 ft radius explosion that deals (1d10) fire damage to all creatures within range before it dies.

Description

"It's like a bad joke, much like the classic 'Snakes in a Can' gag, only it tries to actually murder whoever is dumb enough to take the lid off the jar."

- Shady Stan, street corner potion merchant.

This ooze is tiny, highly aggressive and started off as a species stemming from an alchemist's huge mistake, but it starts to hibernate when it's levels of oxygen run low. The potion of aggression can stay in this inactive state for over two hundred years and has every appearance of a thick transparent liquid, so...eventually someone got the idea to weaponize the now life form and selling tiny versions them as traps. It's not a common method of assassination or home defense, but the idea of selling a monster in a jar to a hated rival or "gift" for an unwanted burglar appeals to many a sinister mind. All it takes is jar, a sleep spell, an abomination created by mad science, and few drops of food coloring  to create a potentially lethal weapon.
