Description
An automaton is a magical machine, which was once foraged out of bronze, had gears fixed into its hollow body, and had been brought to life by powerful magic. An automaton obeys its maker's commands even to destruction. Even though it has thoughts and feelings, an automaton is built to be a servant, so it serves its maker faithfully. If the maker of an automaton dies, and the automaton remains, the automaton is free, unless the maker left lingering commands.
