Description
The black griffon combines the body of a black panther with the head, forelegs, and wings of a raven. Not as large and strong as the common griffon, it is an opportunistic ambush predator and scavenger, and will even consume plant-based food when no meat is available. It is known for stealing food and shiny objects from other creatures and humanoids alike, as well as for being rather intelligent, but inherently treacherous.
While they are not social like carrion griffons, it is not uncommon for black griffons to work together towards a mutual goal, although it usually ends with each trying to take as much of the prize as possible for itself.
