Description
Viral zombies move much faster and fluidly than the undead variety. They are garbed in the, typically, filthy apparel they wore prior to becoming infected. One similarity between this and the undead variant is the smell of decay, though the viral sort generally do not stink of it nearly as strongly. While the undead are themselves rotting, the the odor of the viral stems from the rotting bits and bobs of the creatures they eat, stuck around their mouth (or mouths), beneath their nails.
Horrific Forms
Viral zombies come in an incredible variety of appearances, but this base sort remains the closest of the lot to humanoid. Even still, while some may remain almost indistinguishable from the infected hosts appearance, others may have bones that have been reshaped and are now protruding from their body and able to be used as a weapon; some may have portions of flesh and bone that split open to reveal irregularly shaped mouths within; still others have grown additional appendages in the form of another arm or leg or even tentacles.
