Grow. Depending on the current hit points, the bone spiral will change sizes. Tiny: 1-10. Small: 11-20. Medium: 21-40. Large: 41-80. Huge: 81-160. Gargantuan: 161+. STR and DEX increase at DM's discretion.
Take. The bone spiral gains abilities based on what skeletons it has. Claws, beaks, spikes, tails, and teeth all will work together within the spiral, but only so many can be on the outside. Depending on the size, the spiral can choose actions from the bones it has consumed, on top of Slam. Tiny: 0. Small: 1. Medium: 2. Large: 3. Huge: 4. Gargantuan: 5.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage.
Idk. Go check on what moves a horse can do or something. I'm not going to add every single attack, that's hard.
Eat. The spiral eats a corpse with a bone structure within 5 feet of it. Depending on the corpse size, the spiral increases its max, and current, hit points. Tiny: +1. Small: +2. Medium: +5. Large: +10. Huge: +20. Gargantuan: +50.
Shift. The spiral rearranges its bone structure, bringing new claws or teeth to the front. Recharge 2-3.
Description
If it's small, kill it. If it's not, run. This eternally shifting pile of bones uses its victims to grow in size and power. For every corpse it eats, it gains health and gets bigger.
If its not obvious, I don't know how balancing works. I just wanted to get this idea out there for other people to steal and fine tune. It's not really my problem -ACult
