Curse of immortality. Cain (later called "Bandos Bandira") was punished by the gods several hundred years ago. He was cursed for his sin of gruesome fratricide. His curse forces him to live forever and have no possibility to die. No matter what he tries to kill himself, what he rakes off or what tools he uses, he will always rise again.
The more violently his body is destroyed, the longer it takes him to regenerate. For small wounds that would have caused death, he is back on his feet within minutes or hours. For larger wounds, it can take several days. In the end, however, he will always rise again as long as his curse is active.
Ancient Dragon Gleve. Bandos Bandira's weapon is the magical Dragon Elder Gleve.
A long pole weapon with a curved blade at the end. The weapon is made of pure gold, and wrapped in red leather with a sculpted elongated dragon on the back of the blade.
The weapon can be used to make large swings, as well as long range bridging thrusts.
The weapon works similar to a "dancing-weapon".
Bandira can freely move the weapon telekinetically within 30 feet. He controls the gleve's movements with directing movements of his hand.
Additionally, the weapon can be imbued with the magic of dragons, which engulfs it in flames and gives it a fire aspect.
Multifunction gauntlet. Inside his gauntlet are several small mechanical devices. A magic-influenced grappling hook, a 1 foot long extendable blade, and a tiny crossbow with small special darts coated with a paralyzing poison.
Multiattack. If he uses his gleve in two hands he can perform one attack, but if he uses it only in one hand he can perform a second attack with his gauntlet.
Thrust (Gleve). Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: (1d8 + 3) piercing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 4) piercing damage if used with two hands.
Swing (Gleve). Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 6 ft., one target. Hit: (1d8 + 3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10 + 4) slashing damage if used with two hands.
AOE Swing (Gleve). Melee Weapon Attack (two handed): +3 to hit, reach 6 ft., all targets in range. Hit: (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.
Throw and Call Back (Gleve). Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 10/30 ft., one target. Hit: (1d8 + 4) piercing damage. After the throw he can call back the weapon in his hands.
Hidden Blade inside the Gauntlet. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 2 ft., one target. Hit: (1d4 + 3) piercing damage.
Crossbow Gauntlet. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 10/80 ft., one target. Hit: (1d4 + 1) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking (2d6) poison damage and is paralyzed for one round on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Grappling Hook attack. Ranged Weapon Attack: range 100 ft., one target. The target needs to roll an DEX save, if failed the target is grappled and Bandira can pull it to him or vise versa (strength contest).
Grappling Hook movement. He can use his grappling hook to move around.
Call Back. If he doesn't has his gleve in his hand, he can call the weapon back right in his hands.
Parry and Counterattack. Bandos Bandira adds 2 to its AC against one melee attack or ranged attack within 10 feet that would hit him. If the opponent's attack is blocked by this effect, Bandos Bandira can directly counterattack the opponent (counts as attack of opportunity).
Flaming Beyblade. Ranged AOE Weapon Attack: He envelops the Gleve in flames and hurls it through the air like a spinning top. He controls the directions of the flame wheel and can use it to attack up to 3 targets of his choice in a 30 ft radius in succession. The targets must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking (1d8) slashing damage and (3d6) fire damage on a failed save.
Burning Cyclone. Ranged AOE Weapon Attack: By controlling the gleve wrapped in flames, he creates a 5 ft wide cyclone of flames anywhere within a 30 ft radius. All targets within range of the cyclone must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking (1d8) slashing damage and (1d6) fire damage on a failed save. If a target is in the center of the cyclone, they must make a DC 16 Dexterity or Constitution saving throw, taking (1d8) slashing damage and (3d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Description
Cain was born several centuries ago. Because of a quarrel, he committed a terrible sin. He murdered his twin brother, who was in the grace of the gods. Because of his sin, he was cursed by the gods to walk this earth forever without ever finding peace. What initially felt like a blessing rather than a curse became torture for him after several decades. Since then he tried to break the curse to finally die. In all his years of life, Cain learned many languages and researched many historical, magical, mythological things. His hatred for humanity and for himself grew and grew as he witnessed the injustice all these years. Besides his own mission to die, he began to help people who were considered outcasts and offer them a home. Under the new name "Bandos Bandira", he created a refuge for outcasts and led them to war against other kingdoms as their king. On his journey, he killed many kings. He cut the symbols of the kings from their cloaks and capes and sewed them together to create his own royal cloak, which is a patchwork of different colors and symbols. He also incorporated the crowns of the kings into his armor or added them to his collection. The self-proclaimed "Bandit King" pursued his path of building an empire of outcasts, but never forgot his real mission, to find a way to break the curse and die.
