Description
Bark Drakes embody the force of nature. Their sturdy serpent like bodies are 10-12ft long of a trunk and winding thick branches, also they have many small twisted twigs that line their bodies and help them slither on surfaces and burrow beneath the ground.
A Bark Drake can only be created by a creature that is attuned with nature. This process includes burying a fresh snake or other reptilian corpse beneath a tree sapling. Then with druidic or natural magic they speed the the growth of the sapling from the beasts corpse. Once the tree becomes 10ft tall, the next morning once the first sun light hits the tree it begins to twist and shape for the next hour into the drake form, and sets off to find its master who planted it.
Bark Drakes are not hostile unless provoked. If provoked they act like a wild animal until they are no longer provoked. They are a terrifying force as they engulf their foes after swallowing them down their expanding maw. Even more they can burrow into the ground like roots and through their keen senses they will engulf their prey from below.
