Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Xenagos fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. Xenagos has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Xenagos weapon attacks are magical.

Spellcasting. Xenagos is a 10th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 18, + 10 to hit with spell attacks). Xenagos has following spells prepared:


1st level (4 slots): charm person, tasha's hideous laughter

2nd level (3 slots): detect thoughts, invisibility, see invisibility, shatter

3rd level (3 slots): catnap, dispel magic, enemies abound

4th level (3 slots): confusion, polymorph

5th level (2 slots): synaptic static, modify memory, dominate person

Actions

Multiattack. Xenagos can make three attacks: two with his spear, and one with his wine chalice.

Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (3d12 + 9) piercing damage.

Wine Chalice. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 5) poison damage. A creature hit by Xenagos wine chalice must succeed a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned. At the end of each of its turns, an affected target can make a Constitution saving throw. If it succeeds, this effect ends for that target.

Poison Mind. Xenagos targets one or two creatures that he can see within 60 feet of him. Each target must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save the target takes 25 poison damage and becomes blinded until the start of Xenagos' next turn. The target takes 12 damage and is not blinded on a success. 

Bonus Actions

Disengage. Xenagos can take the disengage action as a bonus action

Reactions

Revels Charm. When a creature within 60 feet of the Xenagos makes an attack roll against him, and another creature is within the attack’s range, the attacker must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the attacker must target the creature that is closest to it, not including Xenagos or itself. If multiple creatures are closest, the attacker chooses which one to target. If the saving throw is successful, the attacker is immune to Xenagos' Revels Charm for 24 hours.

Counter Spell (1/Day). When a creature within 120 feet of the Xenagos attempts to cast a spell he may cast  counterspell at 5th level. 

Legendary Actions

Xenagos can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. He regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Reveler's Leap (Costs 1 Action). Xenagos can magically teleport to an unoccupied space he can see within 60 feet.

Charge (Costs 1 Action). Xenagos may move up to his speed, then he makes a gore attack with his horns Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (3d12 + 9) piercing damage.

Party Magic (Costs 2 Actions). Xenagos may cast one of his known spells.

Description

Xenagos, once a mortal satyr, ascended to godhood on Theros for a brief time, before being smote by Elspeth and Godsend. Since his fall from Nyx, Xenagos has been biding his time for the right moment to attempt another ascension.
