Description. The Animated Blight Tree is 35 feet tall and 10 foot around at the trunk with a jagged gapping mouth. It has two eyes that glow with orbed gems. These are two gems are enchanted orbs that have the power to keep a mile radius of land fertile.
False Appearance. While the animated tree remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal tree.
Siege Monster. The animated tree deals double damage to objects and structures.
Multiattack. The blight makes four attacks: two with its branches and two with its grasping roots. If it has a target grappled, the blight can also make a bite attack against that target as a bonus action. Or makes only two attacks branch and Slam as slam uses the roots to get the rock.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage.
Grasping Root. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (1d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage. The root has AC 15 and can be severed by dealing 6 slashing damage or more to it at once. Cutting the root doesn’t hurt the blight but ends the grapple.
Rock. Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 60/180 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage.
Animate Trees (1/Day). The animated tree magically animates one tree it can see within 60 feet of it. These tree have the same statistics as a animated tree, except they have Intelligence and Charisma scores of 1, they can't speak, and they have only the Slam action option. An animated tree acts as an ally of the animated tree. The tree remains animate for 1 day or until it dies; until the animated tree dies or is more than 120 feet from the tree; or until the animated tree takes a bonus action to turn it back into an inanimate tree. The tree then takes root if possible.
