Traits

Aegis. Whenever Athena takes damage, all creatures within 15 feet of her take 14 (4d6) acid damage and 14 (4d6) poison damage.

Divine Smite. Once per turn, when Athena hits a target with an attack, she can expend castings of wish or castings of counterspell to infuse divine energy into one of her attacks. Athena deals an extra 105 (30d6) radiant damage for each expended wish slot and 35 (10d6) for each expended counterspell slot, to a maximum of 40d6.

God of Hunt. Athena benefits from the following effects:

  • Godly Luck. Disadvantage cannot be imposed upon Athena. When Athena has advantage, she rolls the d20 three times. Furthermore, she scores a critical hit on rolls 18-20.
  • Godly Wisdom. Whenever Athena makes a Wisdom roll, she automatically succeeds and is treated as a 20.
  • Godly Size. Athena is large (weapon dice x2) and is permanently affected by the potion of giant size (weapon dice x3).
  • Godly Constitution. Athena's hit dice are maximized.
  • Godly Power. Athena's attacks treat immunities as resistance, and invulnerability as structures with AC 8 and 1,000 hp. Athena's attacks are magical.

Uncanny 20. Athena deals triple damage on rolls 20.

Legendary Resistance (5/day). If Athena fails a saving throw, she can choose to succeed instead.

Lucky (5/day). Athena has 5 uses of the lucky feat, of which she can use multiple at once.

Magic Resistance. Athena has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Sentinel. Athena benefits from the following effects:

  • When Athena hits a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn.
  • Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from Athena even if they take the Disengage action before leaving her reach.
  • When a creature makes an attack against a target other than Athena, she can make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.
  • Athena has one reaction per turn.

Polearm Master. Athena benefits from the following effects:

  • When Athena takes the Attack action and attacks with her spear, she can use a bonus action to make a melee attack with the weapon.
  • While Athena is wielding her spear, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from her when they spend their movement speed within the reach she has with that weapon.

Siege Monster. Athena does double damage to objects and structures.

Actions

Multiattack. Athena can use her Petrifying Presence. She can then make four attacks with her spear or bash.

Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +21 to hit, range 20 ft., one target. Hit 54 (12d6 + 12) piercing damage.

Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +21 to hit, range 10 ft. cone. Hit 12 bludgeoning damage. On a hit, Athena and the creature then make a contested Strength (Athletics) check. If the target rolls lower, then it is knocked prone. While prone in this way, it is also paralyzed while being able to crawl.

Petrifying Presence. All creatures that can see the Aegis within 120 ft. Athena must make a DC 19 Constitution saving throw. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the creature is instantly petrified. Otherwise, a creature that fails the save begins to turn to stone and is restrained. The [/condition]restrained[/condition] creature must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn, becoming petrified on a failure or ending the effect on a success. The petrification lasts until the creature is freed by the greater restoration spell or other magic. Unless surprised, a creature can avert its eyes to avoid the saving throw at the start of its turn. If the creature does so, it can't see Athena until the start of its next turn, when it can avert its eyes again. If the creature looks at the Athena in the meantime, it must immediately make the save.

Bonus Actions

Dash. Athena doubles her movement speed.

Spellcasting. Athena can cast the following spell, requiring no material spell components (spell save DC 27, +19 to hit):

2/day each: wish, power word kill

Reactions

Spellcasting. Athena can cast the following spell, requiring no material spell components (+10):

6/day: counterspell

Legendary Actions

Athena can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Athena regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Attack. Athena can move up to half her movement speed and make an attack with her spear or bash.
