Shapechanger. The weregator can use its action to polymorph into a Large gator-humanoid hybrid or into a Large alligator, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its size and AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Keen Senses. The weregator has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that don't rely on sight.

Actions

Multiattack. In gator form, the weregatorr makes one bite and one tail attack. In humanoid form, it makes two glaive attacks. In hybrid form, it can attack like a gator or a humanoid.

Bite (Gator or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack:  +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d12 + 6) piercing damage. If the weregator chooses to the target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be restrained in the weregators jaws. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with weregator lycanthropy.

Tail (Gator or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack:  +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage. If the creature hit by this attack is Medium sized or smaller must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Glaive (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack:  +10 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 6) slashing damage.

Description

Weregators are a rare and powerful type of lycanthrope who tend to be incredibly reclusive and protective of their existence. Upon contracting this form of lycanthropy an afflicted individual will continue to grow until they die. These lycanthropes dislike everyone and everything they can't consume. These lycanthropes are eternally hungry and will continue to grow larger and larger until they perish. Additionally, when this lycanthropy is contracted the afflicted creature's skin begins to harden and toughen leading to an increased toughness beyond that of normal lycanthropes.
