Antimagic Susceptibility. The book is incapacitated while in the area of an anti magic field.  If targeted by dispel magic, the book must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute.

False Appearance. While the book remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal book. 

Loot Drop.  When defeated, If the Animated Spellbook was not damaged by fire or acid, then its pages may contain 1 spell scroll of any of the following spells.  Roll a D6 to determine the spell:
1-2: No usable spell scrolls.
3: Ray of Frost
4: Mage Armor
5: Color Spray
6:  Aganazzar's Scorcher

Spellcasting. The Animated Spellbook is a 3rd-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). The Animated Spellbook has the following Wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Vicious Mockery, Acid Splash, Chill Touch, Fire Bolt, Poison Spray, Ray of Frost
1st Level (4 Slots): Magic MissileColor SprayMage Armor
2nd Level (2 Slots): Aganazzar's Scorcher

Actions

Multi-Spell Attack. The Spellbook makes two spell attacks per turn as long as it is able to flip its pages and turn to the spell it wishes to cast.  Otherwise, it requires no Vocal, Somatic or Material components to cast its spells. 


Surprise Slam Attack.
 If not noticed, the Book can fly off a shelf or surface and attack an unsuspecting creature within 30 ft.  Creature makes a Dexterity Saving Throw DC 12.  On fail, the creature takes 1d6+2 Bludgeoning Damage, half on save.

"It appears to be just a book ... a book that flies off the shelf on its own, conks you in the head and burns your face off!" - one unfortunate rogue.
Animated Spellbook's are generally crafted by wizard's as a way of protecting their valuable libraries.  However, they have been known to manifest spontaneously when summoning spells go awry.   When flying, the pages of the Animated Spellbook extend out and it somewhat resembles a bat.
