Traits

Blessing of the Stars (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). If the starlight dragon would be reduced to 0 hit points, its current hit point total instead resets to 350 hit points, and it recharges its Starlight Breath. Additionally, the starlight dragon can now use the options in the "Mythic Actions" section for 1 hour. Award a party an additional 62,000 XP (124,000 XP total) for defeating the starlight dragon after its Blessing of the Stars activates.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Nebulous Thoughts. Magical attempts to read the dragon's mind or glean its thoughts fail automatically.

Illumination. While it has at least 1 hit point, the dragon sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light in an additional 20 feet.

Incorporeal Movement. The dragon can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 11 (2d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.

Unusual Nature. The dragon doesn't require air, drink, food, or sleep.

Actions

Multiattack. The dragon makes one Bite attack and two Claw attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 11 (2d10) radiant damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage.

Starlight Breath (Recharge 5-6). The dragon exhales a shower of stars in a 120-foot line that is 10-feet wide. Each creature in the cone must make a DC 22 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 66 (12d10) radiant damage. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage.

Bonus Actions

The dragon can take the following bonus action on its turn.

Star Shift (3/Day). The dragon magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.

Cosmic Flare (3/Day). The dragon glows a blinding white light in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on itself. Each creature in this area must succeed on a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, a creature can repeat the saving throw, ending the blinded condition on itself on a success.

Legendary Actions

The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Tail Attack. The dragon makes one Tail attack.

Starburst. The dragon flares brightly and erupts with starlight in a 120-foot-radius sphere centered on itself. Each creature in this area must succeed on a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw or take 16 (3d10) radiant damage. On a successful save, creatures take half damage.

Shifting Stars (Costs 2 Actions): The dragon targets up to five Huge or smaller creatures that it can see within 240 feet. The targets must succeed on a DC 22 Constitution saving throw (the targets can choose to fail), or the targets are teleported to an unoccupied space of the dragon's choice that it can see within 240 feet.

Mythic Actions

If the starlight dragon's Blessing of the Stars has activated in the last hour, it can use the options below as legendary actions.

Mythic Star Shift. The starlight dragon magically teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space it can see.
Super Star Cluster (Costs 3 Actions). The starlight dragon creates four 20-foot-radius sphere stars each centered on a point within 240-feet of it that it can see. Creatures inside the radius when a star appears must succeed on a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save a creature takes 70 (20d6) radiant damage and is blinded until the end of the dragon's next turn. On a successful save a creature takes half as much damage and is not blinded. A creature in the area of more than one star is only affected once.
