Description
Blade Widows, also known as Sickle Spiders, are set apart from many of the multiverse's giant spiders by their hard chitinous armor and their jagged, blade-like legs. Blade widows live in small packs consisting of a mated pair and several juveniles. These huge arachnids snare prey with their webbing and defend themselves with their cruel, serrated limbs.
Newborn blade widows are called "pups." Unlike the adults, their chitinous bodies are covered in patterned downy fur, and the ends of their legs have not yet elongated into blade-like weapons.
