Description
Generations living in the dark caves of the Underdark left these wyverns to degenerate into a shadow of their former self with a pale grey leathery skin with blind vestigial milky eyes. Their bodies slimmer and more sickly looking make them very effective to camouflage in the dark caves they now call home in addition to new powerful echolocation skill to compensate their blindness.
It is said that the Drow took and magically modified some of these creatures arming them with a more potent poison that their outside cousins and with the capability to cast some spells which is why is rare to see these creatures attack Drows even in extreme cases of starvation. These rare breeds of wyverns are a great menace to fight in their terrain, but if by any chance one can manage to drag one out into the sunlight they will find the poor best struggling to fight back.
